To address the complete range of industry requirements, Chesterton has developed solutions that increase the efficiency and reliability of these common maintenance operations by offering a comprehensive combination of Cleaners, Lubricants and Specialty Coatings.

Their chemical products fall into two categories:  ARC Composites/Coatings and Technical (TP) Products . We are proud to be the exclusive, authorized distributor for Chesterton’s chemical products.

Chesterton ARC Composites/Coating

The broad range of surface-engineered products offered by ARC can minimize downtime and maximize your investments. The following are some of the common problems that can be solved by using ARC products:

    -Minimize downtime and maximize investments.

    Abrasion
    -For severe abrasive environments, ARC composite materials have become the preferred method for rebuilding and
    upgrading equipment. For equipment that is exposed to abrasive particles (e.g., chutes, silos, and slurries), ARC
    products for abrasion are ideal for repairs and upgrades.

    Erosion-Corrosion
    -Eliminate erosion-corrosion with ARC ceramic-reinforced composite materials. In pumps, where maintaining critical
    tolerances is key to operating effectively, ARC composite materials can help extend the life of your equipment.

    Chemical Attack
    -Protect against chemical attack: aggressive acids, condensing vapors, strong caustics. Silos, chimneys, and tanks can
    be damaged by chemical attack and ARC engineered surfaces can be used for maximum protection.

    Atmospheric Corrosion
    -Stop corrosion damage! For equipment that is exposed to the elements, ARC’s unique formulated products for
    corrosion greatly minimize any loss in productivity.

Using Chesterton ARC Products
ARC Composites combine the extremely hard wearing properties of ceramics with the resilience of a polymer matrix to deliver outstanding resistance to sliding abrasion and erosion. These types of abrasion commonly wear out equipment that handles slurries, dry powders, and turbulent fluid flow. In these applications, ARC Composites have outlasted and outperformed hard face welding, rubber liners, ceramic tiles, and conventional ceramic-filled epoxies.
The unique technology of ARC Composites has led to sprayable thin film protection which dramatically outperforms traditional coating technology. The unparalleled reliability of ARC Composites has made it the product of choice in severe chemical exposure.
While widely used in industry, standard epoxy coatings for concrete exhibit a high failure rate. ARC engineers have created a reliable concrete coating system which resists chemical and physical attack.
The same composite technology which provided abrasion resistance superior to other materials has been proven to completely eliminate the corrosion/erosion cycle. ARC Composites extend the service life of equipment used in harsh industrial environments by providing a barrier to permeation.

803 Industrial & Marine Solvent II

A powerful, non-solvent based degreaser. Its advanced surfactant technology offers maximum efficiency in soil removal. Biodegradable, Phosphate-free – Free of Butyl Cellosolve‡ No EDTA or toxic solvents. NSF A1.
    -Pulp and paper industry: Cleaning production equipment .

274 Industrial Degreaser

An Industrial and Marine environment, hard surface degreaser.
    -Quickly and efficiently removes: Oil deposits, soot and exhaust residue, metal working fluids, dissolves petroleum oil,
    grease, tar and other inorganic soils.
    -Applications: Metal Productions Shops, Paint Shops, Boiler Rooms, Equipment Repair Shops, Ship Yards, Dip Tanks &
    more.

292 Precision Solvent Degreaser

Fast evaporating, low odor, industrial strength solvent blend cleans equipment instantly before disassembly, maintenance and repair. Safe for all metals, flash point 40C (105F). NSF K1, K2, K3.
    -Ideal for: Bearings, Valves and fittings, Chains, Cables, Mold Cleaning, Lathes, Presses, Production tools, Finished
    parts, Non-energized electrical equipment, motors, switches and controllers. Removes oil, grease, wax, tar and other
    organic soils.

294 CSD

Safe, Fast Acting, Solvent Based Degreaser – cleans the most difficult deposits. Performance designed: Rapid cleaning, low aromatic content, safe for all metals, Flash point -18C (- 4F) .
    -Perfect for: Bearings, Pulleys, Valves and fittings, Chains, Cables, Electromechanical Assemblies, Molds, Lathes,
    -Presses, Production tools, Finished parts, Re-circulating and agitated parts washers and dip tanks.

276 Electronic Component Cleaner (ECC)

Environmentally responsible alternative to hazardous solvents. It is formulated to remove dust, dirt and organic residues from electrical and optical components. NSF K2.
    -Characteristics: Non-Flammable, fast evaporating, No Residue – No Plastic Attack, No Ozone Depleting Chemicals,
    Deep penetrating, cleans on contact.
    -Applications: Controllers, Panel meters, Circuit boards, Contacts, Levers, Motorized instruments, Medical devices,
    Control panels.
    -Hard surface degreasing of: Equipment, Motors, Parts in process, Compatible with virtually all sensitive materials
    common to the electronics industry.

Greases & Lubricants

625 CXF & 630 SXCF

Superior quality, multi-purpose, H1 food grade lubricant, clean, pure mineral (625), or synthetic technology (630) and QBT† fortified grease. “Best in Class Bearing Protection” against Wear, Load and Corrosion. NSF H1.
    -Food industry: Bottling equipment, Fruit feeders, Paste and Sauce fillers, Canning machinery, Meat packaging
    equipment, Carton filling equipment.
    -General Uses: Valves, Pistons, Pumps, Conveyor belts, Rollers, Machinery, Slides, Guides.
    -Contains NO PTFE, safe for tobacco and other processing plants where PTFE is restricted.

615 HTG , 633 SXCM & 635 SXC

High-performance, corrosion inhibited greases with outstanding EP capabilities and excellent water washout and corrosion resistance. Temperature limits above 204°C (400°F). 633, 635 synthetic based. All Fortified with QBT. SXCM contains Moly.
    -Application and uses: Machine tools, Mechanical presses, Milling heads, Reduction gears, Cams, Toggle joints, Links
    -Calender bearings, High-speed spindle gears, Continuous caster bearings, Torch pin rolls, Shears, Blowers,
    -Conveyors, Grinding mills, Crushers, Hoists Bearings, Electric motors, Couplings, Easily pump able in automatic
    -grease-dispensing systems.

601 Chain Drive Pin & Bushing Lubricant

Premium quality light oil, penetrates between the close clearance of chain drive bushings and pins to provide critical lubrication. The lubricant of choice in the industry for over 30 years. NSF H2.
    -Rapid penetration: Pressure additives increase load carrying ability at start up stresses.
    -No dirt and dust build up in chains – No sticky lubricant residues.
    -Corrosion inhibiting properties: Extends chain life 2 to 4 times – Long lasting, non-drying film.
    -Applications: Chain drives for assembly lines, Conveyors, Packaging equipment, Hoist chains, Link and roller
    assemblies, Forklift trucks, Tractors, Machinery, Chain saws, Robotic equipment lubricant & more.

706/706 FG Rustsolvo® / 723FG Sprasolvo®

High quality, fast acting, penetrating oil reaches inaccessible areas and frees frozen nuts, bolts, and fittings without damaging the base metal. Singular function, Safe on plastic and painted surfaces, 706FG – NSF H1, Conforms to FDA standard 21CFR 172.884, 178.3620, 178.3650, Contains no glycols, alcohols, DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide) or chlorinated solvents, Pleasant odor, Creeps into microscopic spaces.
    -Use on all corroded or seized threaded assemblies: Plumbing, Machinery, Trucks, Pipelines, Railroads, Tractors,
    -Steam and gas fittings, Valves, Pumps, Drilling utilities, Auto shops, Ship & more.

800 GoldEnd® Tape

Heavy duty, high density, tear resistant, moldable, dry PTFE sealant tape for use on metal or plastic threads, pipes or bolts. Requires fewer wraps, Resists tearing and breakage, Won’t clog fuel lines. Meets MIL-T-27730A, NSF H1, P1, DVGW, BAM.
    -Liquids: Steam, water, salt water, air, fuels, refrigerants, acids, alkalis, all solvents.
    -Gases: Hydrogen, ammonia, oxygen, propane, butane, nitrogen.
    -Other: Seals all plumbing and most industrial piping threads Pneumatic and hydraulic fittings up to 690 bar
    (10,000 psi).

900 GoldEnd® Paste

Non-hardening, non-corrosive, moldable PTFE thread sealant and lubricant for the most difficult of sealing demands on pipe joints, pneumatic fittings, and hydraulic line applications.
    -Applications: Thread sealant and lubricant for Liquids, Water, salt water, fuels, refrigerants, acids, alkalies, solvents,
    Gases, Steam, air, propane, butane, nitrogen and ammonia.
    -Other: Pneumatic and hydraulic fittings, Anti-seize sealing to 260°C (500°F), Holds gasket in place during assembly.

Metal Working Fluids

388 Synthetic Tapping Fluid

Safe, full synthetic formula for machining operations performed at high speed and feed rates, as well as manual or automatic single-shot cutting tool applications.
    -Ready to use – Excellent lubricity and heat dissipation, Extends tool life.
    -Applications: Tapping, Boring, Reaming, Threading, Drilling, Milling. May be used in mist applicators.

Corrosion Control

740 Heavy Duty Rust Guard

Long-term, corrosion preventative coating provides heavy-duty metal protection for all areas constantly exposed to humidity and corrosive fumes, without critical surface preparation. Conforms MIL-C-161173D,Grade 1 and 4 (transparent only).
    -Applications: Machinery, tubing, castings, rods, jigs and fixtures, Stampings, Parts in storage, Pumps, Fittings, Valves, Hinges, Tanks, Indoor structural steel .
    -Product can be easily removed with Chesterton’s 276 Electronic Component Cleaner or 274 Industrial Degreaser
