About Process Pump & Seal
Process Pump was founded in 1984 as a full line distributor for the A. W. Chesterton Company, a world class manufacturer of mechanicals seals and packings, hydraulic seals, maintenance chemicals, and abrasive resistant coating (ARC). Through the Chesterton Specialist Program, Process Pump focused on improving equipment reliability, and reducing plant operating and maintenance costs. As the products and programs introduced were successful, Process Pump grew steadily.
In 1992 Process Pump was awarded additional Chesterton territory, and began representing its second product line, Inpro Bearing Isolators. Additional pump products and pump services were soon added during the 1990’s. Today, the growth continues. Process Pump represents over 17 manufacturers as a stocking distributor, and has a complete pump service group.
In June of 2010, Process Pump opened an office in Morgantown West Virginia, specializing in Metso Slurry Pumps, and Customized Process Solutions for the Mining, Power, and Process Industries in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Process Pump & Seal signs Assest Purchase Agreement
Process Pump is very excited about the recent decision of Metso Minerals, Inc. to extend our distributorship of Metso Slurry Pumps to West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, and Eastern Kentucky. This extension was made possible following an Asset Purchase Agreement between Process Pump & Seal and Allegheny Process Systems.
